Dear users,
I already solved the problem of skipping the login screen when rebooting,
but now I'd like help on the following.
After resuming from standby, instead of going directly to the desktop, I get
the login screen with the user icon which you click and immediately your on
the desktop ( no password required).
About a month ago before doing a fresh re install this didn't happen and
after resuming from standby you where in the desktop.
I know this behavior can be overcome.
Please advice,

Arturo

You need to check the following;

Go to Control Panel and double click Power Options.
In Power Options, click on the Advanced tab.
On the Advanced page, remove the check mark from the box next to "Prompt for
password when computer resumes from standby".
Click OK.
Put you computer into Standby mode and see if the problem is fixed.

Note: You may also want to launch the Display applet in Control Panel. Click
on the Screen Save tab and make sure "On resume, password protect" is
unchecked.

Good luck
