Default Search Icon missing

Hello! While experiementing I somehow lost the searchbar in the "Start - All
Programs - above Run".
How do I repair this fault?

No one knows how you were 'experimenting', so we can only guess at a
solution. Here's my guess:

Start Control Panel Taskbar and Start Menu Start Menu tab
Customize button Advanced tab Start menu items place a check mark
in Search.

solution. Here's my guess:

Start Control Panel Taskbar and Start Menu Start Menu tab
Customize button Advanced tab Start menu items place a check mark
in Search.

Default Search Icon missing

Thanks Leonard,
I remember now that I deleted that arrow in that box hoping it would delete
a fairly long strip of white on the taskbar, with a magnifying glass on one
side, which when used would open a large search panel. With its deletion,
the search icon on the right of the panel that opens when start is pressed,
also was deleted. Now it is back. Thanks for your help and a Happy Thanks
