Default Using private characters to customize Windows

Hello!

I've created a few characters with the Private Character
Editor, which is part of Windows:

http://vlaurie.com/computers2/Articles/privchar.htm

Now I want to use these characters in Windows.

Is that possible?

Is it possible to reduce the width of the characters?
