Need help with upgrade of SD card reader to read SDHC cards
I have read some of the suggestions for upgrading an XP pc to read
SDHC cards and downloaded Microsofts upgrade KB934428-v3-x86-ENU.exe. I have SP3 installed but when I install the upgrade it tells me there is no need to install the upgrade. Is there a way to upgrade a SANDISK SecureMate MM SD external drive to read SDHC cards? I have tried some of the suggestions online but so far none seem to work. Would appreciate any input or suggestions. Mary

Unless there's a firmware update for your reader available from SanDisk, it's really unlikely that you'll ever be able to read or write SDHC cards in your old device. It has nothing to do with drivers or what version of Windows you're using. Yousuf Khan
