Default What’s next for Windows 10 updates

We continue to improve Windows 10, accelerating innovation with
investments in quality, new features, and the overall update
experience that are all designed to keep you protected and productive.
Today, I am excited to introduce our next feature update, Windows 10,
version 20H2, which is targeted for release later in the second half
of this year, and provide an overview of our plans for this next release.

Maybe you should spend your time trying to get the bugs out of 2004
instead of posting on the net. Now that might help customer
satisfaction. lol

My Window10 machine will not even let me get 2004.

Did you run the trouble shooter?Â* What do you mean "Window10 machine
will not even let me get 2004"?Â* Have you got an button that says
something like in this pictu

I suggest right-click on the download button from this link and run it
directly instead of saving it and it will fix whatever is the problem:

I have four PCs and all of them said that my PC wasn't ready for 2004.
All four were running Version 1909, Build 18363.900.

I decided to test the above comment and did a backup of my 'C' drive
on my backup PC to a portable HDD.

I then downloaded Media Creation Tool 2004 and proceeded to update my
PC to 2004. In a little over an hour my PC had upgraded to Version
2004, Build 19041.329. Initial testing indicated that everything was
working OK so I decided it was time to update my 32bit PC. That also
progressed as I hoped it would.

My next test was to restore the original PC that I had updated and go
back to Version 1909. That also worked as I expected and hoped.

The next day I updated my other two PCs to Version 2004 (this included
my main PC) and they are working without a hitch. I will keep my
backup PC at Version 1909 for a couple of weeks (or until an update is
provided by MS).

There was nothing complicated about the above procedures - just
roughly an hour for each backup and a bit less for the restore back to
1909.

If you have the facilities for backup and restore processes as I
described, then give it a try. The Media Creation Tool 2004 does all
the hard work for you. You just sit back and wait!
