Default Cannot Get Rid of Windows Classic Theme

Thanks for the replies. I think I found the problem. I
had installed a free program called BoostXP which is
basically a userfriendly gateway to changing just about
everything on windows xp. I had uninstalled it, but it
appeared to leave behind directories and registry
entries. Once I deleted all those and re-tried the
regedits, everything is back to normal.

-----Original Message-----
I have used the regedits from sites like Kelly's XP
Resources, I have deleted any/all themes other than
Windows XP and Style XP, and still everytime my computer
reboots, it's back to windows classic theme and the same
colors! It's starting to drive me nuts.. what other

steps
can I take? The regedits from other sites don't seem to
fix it. Thanks.
