Explorer.exe will crash!!!
Hi
EVerytime i right click an hard drive icon in explorer and select properties. Explorer.exe crashes. I am running Windows XP SP with all the updates. When i right click a hard drive or CD icons and select properties or open or explore or system information or format or copy, i get one of two error messages. Sometimes the entire screen goes blank or the explorer window will close. Event Viewer Info: Faulting application explorer.exe, version 6.0.2900.2180, faulting module shlwapi.dll, version 6.0.2900.2753, fault address 0x00008340. Here is what i have tried: 1. Boot into Safe Mode...no joy 2. Run SFC /SCANNOW...no joy 3. Checked for malware...no joy 4. Did a repair install...no joy TIA NBK |

Explorer.exe will crash!!!
Try going to:http://www.microsoft.com/technet/support/default.mspx
Locate the "DLL Help Database search" and the "Event and Error Message Center" Either or both should produce some results.
