Back in the mid-90's, when Win95 and NT4 were new, my ship was using Windows
3.x to monitor the system that shared our radar data out to other units. Just
sayin'. (We were also using a *nix system for our main data-sharing system.)

A few years back a friend who repaired CNC machines gave me the computer
to work on because the HD failed and he knew I had a copy of OS/2 Warp3.

Though I was able to repair the computer and even re-load the software,
too much of their data was lost so it was useless.

I've never used it.

If you can get away from it, you're better off. It's definitely a
standard, but people can easily accomplish their tasks without using
it.
