In fact, for the most part, I don't use W10 at all (who would, given any sort of choice in the matter?). Mostly, I use W7 (if forced to use something other than XP) and curse the UI's regression from XP. -- "If our country is going broke, let it be from feeding the poor and caring for the elderly. Survey of how you fundamentally mainly interact with Windows 10 [Cortana? Menus? Shortcuts?]
When I used W10 for work, I used its Start Menus and shortcuts.

(i.e., what you do day in and day out all day while you're on Win10) I use a combination of the Native Windows Start menu, and short cuts in the taskbar. My most use programs have short cuts in the Taskbar so they are immediately available and one click and they are open. This includes a short cut to File Explorer Those programs that I use less frequently, are on the start menu. One of the things that I like is the Jumplist. Right click on the icon of any program and a list of recently opened files is available. This makes all of the files I need available with a right click on the proper icon. -- Judge your ancestors by how well they met their standards not yours.
