MS08-074 and MS09-065

I keep getting these two as vulnerabilities. When I have checked them there
are supposed to be repairs for them in Microsoft update but then when I read
further there has been some difficulties with them and people have had a
problem. I hesitate to download them and then create more problems. Does
anyone know if it is essential to download them or can I just live with the
vulnerabilities and check weekly for problems. I also have the firewall set
up.
