cant get xpto re boot

Ok when I try to re install win xp I keep getting "file ohci1394 .sys is
corrupt" I also know I have a virus that just keeps coming back even after it
says it has been deleted and the problems have been resolved using norton.I
also keep getting all these win fixer things coming back as well even after
they say they have been deleted.All my important stuff has been saved so I
just want to wipe it all out and start with a clean slate.I am no mean
computer guro any help would be great thanks
