Default Sound events in Live Messenger

I currently run MSN 9.5 and Live Messenger 8.5. I receive sound and
notifications for all events except for incoming emails where I just receive
the notification. I have the sound box checked for "New mail" in messenger.

I use to receive sound for all my emails. It seemed like this started when I
upgraded from MSN messenger to live messenger.

Is there a fix for this yet, or is it a known problem? Thanks

Default Sound events in Live Messenger

Greetings Andy,

This is a known issue in the current beta of 8.5. I believe it should be fixed in the next
8.5 release (whenever that is).
