Can only access msn, can't get my hotmail to show up

My msn says I have 3 unopened emails, but I keep
getting 'page cannot be displayed'. I can't log in to my
netpassport, although it recognises my hotmail addy on
msn messenger. Please can anyone help me?

Greetings Heather,

Firstly, verify that your computer's date and time has been set correctly. To do so, just
double-click the clock in the corner of the screen, and verify that the day, month and year
is set correctly.

Then, if you haven't already, clear your Internet Explorer cache and cookies -- open Internet
Explorer, click the Tools menu, then Internet Options, then click the Delete Files button,
and when that's complete click the Delete Cookies button. Then try accessing it again.

Lastly, if you're running McAfee Privacy software (not Antivirus) you may need to uninstall
it as it has been known to cause some issues accessing Hotmail.
