Default Verify My E-mail Address

I always get a message over the Messenger icon that says=20
must verify email address. When I click on it, it then=20
asks for my address and password afterwhich it ALWAYS=20
says the following...

"Microsoft=AE .NET Passport was temporarily unable to=20
complete your request. Please try again later."

I don't seem to be able to get rid of this...anyone have=20
any ideas?

Thanks,
Kirk
