mp3 files
just wondering if anyone has a soloution for my problem ? i just cannot seem
to play mp3 files cda or wma files without receiving the (windows needs to find the program to associate with ) i then click on the the program media player and it will open i also check the box to always play it the program and keeps going back to the message. any help would be appreciated. thanks. |

Try opening WMP,tools,options,file types tab,select all box,apply.Otherwise,
download windows media encoder 9 series,in the encoder,select "convert audio/video" locate the file,convert.Once thru,playback in WMP. thank you so much for replying but this did not fix the problem. i looked
into the folder view and file associates and noticed that no audio files were listed so i entered a new file mp3 and tried to save this file extension no luck as soon as i close and reopen this folder it just dissapears and also i noticed when i click on advanced tab it will not work the other file extensions do operate ok it is just audio extentions mp3 cda wma so on. thanks again for any help. i also noticed in winamp that those file extensions were not being able to
be checked off not sure if some program is trying to remove these extensions. problem solved i just reinstalled real player and got my files back thanks
again for some of the tips.
