Now, of the five images I pasted links to, do you see an applet
for
a
"Windows Firewall" in the first two images?? No?? I didn't
think
so.

Micro$oft didn't add an option for a Windows Firewall, as
ThePsyko pointed out to you, until XP came along.

And if you're even remotely considering the possibility that
IPsec
is
a "firewall"?? I'm sorry to say, but I have even more bad news
for you.. IPsec is *not* a firewall. Not by a long shot.

Do everyone a huge favor, hmmmm? Stop talking about things you
know

You're an idiot... with Downs. That's all you are and that's

I'd hate to think of a hell-spawn of that magnitude with that

bird is still in flight, mind you) had more sense than he does.

I would use the old saying that he's "a few fries short of a
Happy Meal", but I'd be insulting Micky D's and I'm not sure I
want to do that.

Well.. he IS a clown!

You mean it's Ronald's freakishly stupid kid????? Oh ****!! I hope
it doesn't breed.

I don't think he can

Not without properly setting up a "Windows Firewall" on Win9x. Let
alone even finding the hidden applet for it.

Wow... haven't heard that one in a while.. what about the ArchAngel
firewall?

ZoneAlarm, homie!!

I used ZoneAlarm for years but I'm now using Comodo which seems to do
the job. Comodo also has a nifty secure browser, "Comodo Dragon" ^_^

why would he need to go to ACA-V for assistance with an obvious
Windows question?

No is send hem to AH-M

It was not just a Windows question,

Did you read it?

Let me repost it for you..

"Using XP SP3. My question relates to the "Windows Firewall""

And my answer was it's not a XP SP3 Windows Firewall problem....

But that's *exactly* what he was asking about. The Windows Firewall in
XP SP3..

"If I am to use the firewall (which I would love to do...) I need an
"exception" to be set to allow IP protocol number 41 thru

http://s-e.mynews.ath.cx:1361/peer-to-peer.png THE ANSWERS!

What part of that led you to believe he wasn't talking about the
Windows firewall?

What part of that led you to believe it was a Microsoft Windows
problem.. You Lexus lover you......

Uhhh... again... read his post. He was pretty clear.

and the answer was that Windows Firewall or registry settings,
is not the problem..
But the Router firewalls is the one causing the big problem...

You can troubleshoot your router all you want - no changes you make
there will address his question that "relates to the Windows
Firewall"

As I have said to: Mr. NimbUs

Know one here can help you, that you ThePsyko

really? Because I posted pretty explicit instructions on how to
accomplish that in later versions of the firewall.

If you do not understand a TCP or a UDP and know not how it works..
Microsoft Firewall setup go thou "Both" TCP,UDP always,

You can open ports, but he specifically said TCP protocol 41 "NOT TCP
port 41" - the firewall he was asking about is not that granular.

Not so with a Router....

He wasn't asking about routers. You didn't comprehend what he was
asking, you made an assumption, and now you look like an idiot. Par for
the course with you I've noticed...

Next Next OK

Of course you'll need to upgrade from XP to do it... not sure about
Vista, but that's where you'll find it in Win 7

Not True

I can do it from XP, 2000, 98, and 95 too......
http://s-e.mynews.ath.cx:1361/router-firewall.png

Windows 95 has a built in firewall? I don't think so... Microsoft
didn't include their firewall until XP.

No Not right it was not include with XP sp1.....

For starters, I didn't specify any particular service pack level, only
that it wasn't included "until XP".. but since you wish to argue the
particulars, don't you find it odd then that there would be instructions
for people using XP and XP sp1 to set up their firewall...

Really? Because what he said in his post was...

Now, of the five images I pasted links to, do you see an applet

Hey, Hot-Mess? I want you to take a look at something since

words
alone mean absolutely *nothing* to you...

Maybe several pretty pictures might shed some light on your
otherwise
dark, Downy world..

Now, of the five images I pasted links to, do you see an
applet
for
a
"Windows Firewall" in the first two images?? No?? I didn't
think
so.

Micro$oft didn't add an option for a Windows Firewall, as

ThePsyko
pointed out to you, until XP came along.

And if you're even remotely considering the possibility that

IPsec
is
a "firewall"?? I'm sorry to say, but I have even more bad news

for
you.. IPsec is *not* a firewall. Not by a long shot.

Do everyone a huge favor, hmmmm? Stop talking about things you
know
**** about. Instead, stick to what you *do* know.. like
drooling
in
the corner or coloring outside the lines.

You're an idiot... with Downs. That's all you are and that's
all
you
will ever be.

Have a day..

If the guys from Dumb and Dumber had a child, it would be
smarter
than
Hot-Text...

I'd hate to think of a hell-spawn of that magnitude with that
much dumbness. Here I was thinking that even bird **** (while
the bird

is
still in flight, mind you) had more sense than he does.

I would use the old saying that he's "a few fries short of a
Happy Meal", but I'd be insulting Micky D's and I'm not sure I
want to

do
that.

Well.. he IS a clown!

You mean it's Ronald's freakishly stupid kid????? Oh ****!! I hope

it
doesn't breed.

I don't think he can

Not without properly setting up a "Windows Firewall" on Win9x. Let
alone even finding the hidden applet for it.

netsh delete allowedprogram Hot-Text mode=disable scope=all
profile=all

True
A kites King needs all the firewalls he can get,
This I say unto you::
BRFconsruction wood like to have 200 firewalls,

that are posted

But do keep trying..

How's Lisa doing?

LOOL True Try reading Hot-Text in Text mode,
