Default "MMC can not open file" in Windows XP

Suddenly I get the message MMC cannot open the file
c:\windows\system32\services.msc when trying to open services in control
panel in my Window XP professional.

I have tried to replase the services.msc file but this doesn't help. Can't
think of anything paritcular I can have done to get this problem. Any help
is greatly appreciated!

Stig

Thanks for quick answer!

I have checked the path variable and the %SystemRoot%\System32\WBEM is
present. I have also discovered that I am not able to do a file-search in
windows explorer. It seems like the whole search module is missing!
