Running MOS-DOS program in XP
The only true test is to try it and see. Try different compatibility modes
too. -- sqr -- ftp://sqr.myftp.biz "TonyLS" wrote in message ... I have a program writtenin MOS-DOS and I want to run it on my Windows XP home addition. Running MOS-DOS program in XP
It's actually MS-DOS, but anyway many DOS programs will work just fine in
XP. If you could post the name of it someone could probably tell you specifically whether it works. "TonyLS" wrote in message ... You can run DOS programs in XP quite easily, you can create a shortcut to a dOS program on desktop and it will make a PIF (Program Info File) which you can modify to suite the DOS program's needs e.g. Expanded/Extended RAM, window size etc. Peter Hutchison Windows FAQ http://www.pcguru.plus.com/ |
