Default Writing in registry

Hi,

we have 2 XP computers. On one of them we are able to install some software
called Cumulus. During installtion it is writing to the registry. On the
other computer the installation fails with an error 1904 saying it is not
able to write in registry (some dll files) - I am logged in as administrator.
:-(

Any suggestions?

BR

Contact Cumulus tech support for help with their software. They should
be able to tell you what you need to do to install their program.

I've tried - and their only suggestion was to log in as local admin :-/

Well, I can tell you that I wouldn't use software with such lousy tech
support. You can use Systernals' free Regmon to see what keys to which
the program is trying to write and change the permissions accordingly.
