2" disk drives in USB enclosure
I'd like to buy a 2" disk in USB enclosure.
Do these thin aluminium enclosures provide enough cooling and mechanical protection for the drive? Can you recomment specific drive models that work well in such enclusure? Thanks, --PA |

2" disk drives in USB enclosure
Actually I have not seen any external hard drive enclosure that does a good
job at keeping the drive cool. They do get rather warm even though they are well vented, but it doesn't seem to matter much. I suppose it takes some lifespan off of the drive, but that is the trade-off for the convenience and portability. "Pavel A." wrote: I'd like to buy a 2" disk in USB enclosure.
