Is there a way to start Windows Picture and Fax Viewer in the
slideshow mode?

Default Windows Picture and Fax Viewer

Make sure all the pictures are inside My Documents\My Pictures. Set the
screen saver to My Pictures slideshow.
Hope this will help you to view slideshow

Default Windows Picture and Fax Viewer

To view your pictures as a slide show
Open My Pictures.
Under Picture Tasks, click View as a slide show.

Open any of the picture and press F11 to view it as slide show

Default Windows Picture and Fax Viewer

Thank you very much for your time and effort.
Unfortunately screensaver gets pictures at random order.
That's why I am curious about "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer"
which when started and switched to slideshow mode displays
pics sequentially. Again, unfortunately I cannot find the command to
start 'Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" in the slideshow mode.
Starting it in any other modes will require manual execution of commands or
pressing keys etc. and that is exactly what I'm trying to avoid.
