XP LOGON Again
I used to be able to boot up and go right to the desk top - now am prompted
at the "Logon On" screen for a "user paswword" ( I don't have one - so when click OK it opens to desktop) I went to the CP and to USER ACCTS and go this message "client services for Netware has disabled the welcome screen and Fast User switching to restore these features you must uninstall "client services for netware" From what I can see no such thing is in the "add remove programs" .....any ideas as to why I get this message in the first place ......I don't remember installing such a thing.... |

Client services for netware is a network protocol which is why its not in Add/Remove programs. Go to Start-Connect to-Show all network Connections, right-click on your network connection, choose Properties. Under the general tab, highlight Client services for netware and click uninstall. Do be aware that NOT using a password and automatically logging on to your machine reduces your security CONSIDERABLY. Before you uninstall it, try unchecking it first. Then if you system works
correctly, you should then be able to uninstall it. "fergie123" wrote in message ... HEy thanks !!
