When I shutdown-restart my Windows XP, it just shuts down. This has only
been happening for about a week. Before it was restarting just fine.

As far as I know nothing changed on the computer itself. I did buy an
external harddrive to staore my data on, but I don't see how that could have
affected it. How do I check to see if my computer is overheating. The fan
is running all the time (as it always has), is that normal?.
