Default Microsoft Live Windows

I am having trouble getting Windows Live Messenger to work. I have deleted
it 3 times and reinstalled but no luck.
When try to sign on I get an error message 80072efd.
I bought a web cam and it will not work unless I can sign on to windows live
messenger.Can someone help me with this problem. Thank you Bill.

The problem is probably not the Live Messenger but a deeper part of windows
that is needed to run Live Messenger.

Always first!!: Make sure your computer is absoluteley free of
viruses/adware.etc.

Always first!!: Make sure you have all the latest critical updates
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

Are you having any other issues??

Can you access the windows update website?

Can you access MSN Messenger web version?
http://webmessenger.msn.com
