Change System32 folder back to hidden
Norton scan informed me I had 2 adware threats and instructed me to delete
them by tracking them to my System32 folder and deleting them, which I did. My question now is how do I once again change that folder's contents back to "hidden" so they are not accidentally accessed and screwing up my computer? Thanks. -- Cyndy397 |

In XP, there are four checkboxes to deal with: a. "Display the contents of system folders". b. "Show hidden files and folders". c. "Hide extensions for known file types". d. "Hide protected operating system files" and click "OK" to the dialog box. Malke -- Elephant Boy Computers www.elephantboycomputers.com "Don't Panic!" MS-MVP Windows - Shell/User |
