Default Removeal of programs

Hello,
I had a program called create and share from intel, used for a web cam. I
uninstalled the program and do to some other problems(Installing new video
card and ran into problems) I have to do a system restore. Now the program
shows up on my add/remove programs. I click it and it tell me the file is
missing or somthing. I know how to remove it from the add/remove program list
but I want to remove the program itself from my computer. Is there a
uninstall utility that I can get that will remove programs that are not
listed on add/remove programs? I tried 2 programs and neither one did any
good.
Any help would be great.

Thanks

If a program has a missing or corrupted uninstaller, it is almost impossible to completely remove it from the system. The problem is that only the programs installer knows exactly where all of the many files and registry entries were placed on the system. Other than trying to manually search for and delete all of the many files and registry entries, your best strategy would be to re-install the program using the default settings and then run the uninstall routine from Add or Remove programs.

Hello,
Thanks for the info. That is the probelm. I have 2 problems. 1 is the
create and share software, I don't have the disk. The other is the MutliMedia
center from ATI. That one I don't remeber which version I downloaded. I tried
the new one and it just sits and nothing happens.

Thanks for the help.

Later!!

Dearest Patricia
I was trying to be funny and show you the error of your ways by typing in
all caps and no punctuation.
Please do not capitalise everything...its considered yelling and rude.
When I installed my webcam it required me to install the USB drivers first
and then connect the cam.
