Default Dual Monitor Problem

I have two computers running WinXP.

I have two LCD monitors: a 19" Dell and a 17" Sharp.

Machine 1 has a NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT graphic card that controls both
monitors. The Dell is the primary monitor and then extended to the
Sharp.

Machine 2 is connected with Machine 1 with a two-port KVM Switch.

The result is that when on Machine 1 I have dual monitors. When I
switch to Machine 2, the Dell continues to show what was there while
the Sharp switches to the desktop of Machine 2.

This has been working for the last 5-6 months.

The other day, I did something (unintentionally). Now when switched to
machine 1, I have the correct displays on both monitors, except the
Sharp now has a predominately blue cast. I can see blues and yellows
but no apparent reds.

If I switch the primary and secondary monitor, I have the same
conditions.

If I switch to Machine 2, the monitor displays just fine.

So I apparently changed something on Machine 1.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this??

TIA.

Joe

In the future please try to avoid posting the same message multiple times.

Anyways my first check would be the cabling. Your setup is indicating
that you have different video cable for each machine so I would look and
see if maybe one of the cables for Machine 1 went bad.

The other possibility is that you changed your color settings for your
Nvidia graphics adapter. I would check the Nvidia Control Panel and see
if maybe you have turned the reds all the way down.
