Default Outlook Calendar

I'm running Outlook 2002 SP3, when I try to set up an appointment, it always
dates it to the date I'm at, no matter what date I input in the new appt.

Sorry wrong area, this is for general operating system questions, I suggest
you search for an outlook newsgroup, you might get a better answer.
