Default Folders In Alphabetical Order

I am using Windows XP Professional SP3.

Whenever I launch Windows Explorer on my computer at home, I see the
following folders in the left pane:
* Desktop
* My Documents
* My Computer
* My Network Places

The same action on my computer at work yields:
* Desktop
* My Computer
* My Documents
* My Network Places

How can I put the folders of my home PC in alphabetical order?

The default setting is :
Desktop
My Documents
My Computer
My Network Places

To change that you need TweakUI
Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/D...powertoys.mspx

1. Download TweakUI and install it
2. Launch TweakUI and then double-click the Desktop (left pane)
3. Select First icon under First Icon on Desktop (it also affects explorer)
4. Select the My Documents (your choice) radio-button
5. Click Apply, OK.
6. Restart Explorer

Not to disagree with your recommendation, but I wanted to correct a
single Word in it: "need." You never "need" to use TweakUI to do
anything. TweakUI simply makes changes (usually registry edits) more
easily and more safely than doing them yourself.
