Default CD/DVD Drives

My system shows a DVD-RAM drive but I am unable to read or write to a CD
using it. It was working OK up until a couple of days ago. How can I get it
to work correctly again?

Hello,

That fix is only if the drive doesn't even appear.

Hello,

How old is it? It could have reached end of life. Try to see if it is able
to read a DVD disc that works on another drive

Here's the simplest three point plan to take care of this or any other
issue:

1. FIX
2. IT
3. FIX IT

Repeat above until the problem is FIXED.

So your long standing record for having never contributed anything of
