Logon problem
I have a Dell Dimension 8200(Seagate Barracuda 7200 160Gb Hd) with XP, SP3, Spywareblaster, CcCleaner, Avast and Windows firewall. I have a recent log-on on problem; the last 3 times when the computer logs on I get a red shield and a message that my computer may be at risk. When I check, my firewall is turned off then it automatically resets itself and it's back to normal. Thoughts/ Suggestions? Thanks, Robert |

Just for curiosity: how many Dell there are around? :-) http://www.itchannelplanet.com/trend...-7-Percent.htm According to Gartner, Hewlett-Packard Co 62.8 million PC units 2010 Acer Group 45 million shipped PC units Dell Inc.’s 42 million PCs shipped --- Lenovo Group Ltd. 34 million PCs in 2010 Toshiba 19 million units This shows the various computer types versus time. The 350 million total in the previous article, would align with the right-most column here. http://www.jimmo.org/wp-content/uplo...ice-market.png Dell has been in business since 1984. The total number would be quite large. Think of how big that pile would be, in a landfill site. Paul |

I re-posted as you suggested. Also there is no Network icon. I'll now move to the newer post. Robert |
