Default NAS Drives etc

Win XP latest SP and updates.

At home I have a NAS.
It shows up in WE while I am out and about.
But if I click on it, it locks up that WE.

Is there a way to automatically hide drives (etc) that are not present
so I can't accidentally click on them?
(Like Win 7 does, I think)

If it's a network drive and you are trying to keep it from showing up, wait
until it does, then right-click it and select "Disconnect".
