Anybody running Firefox v28 under Windows 8?
Anybody running Firefox v28 under Windows 8? If so, does it run as a
Metro App? I have three Windows 8 machines. Gateway M465 (no touch or pen support - no Metro FF) Motion Computing LE1700 (just pen support - no Metro FF) Dell Latitude ST (both pen and touch - Metro FF works) And recently FF28 had another update and they changed the whole layout and menus. And using FF28 as a Metro App is now called Touch. Ah... the pieces are starting to fit together. It seems that FF Metro only runs as a Metro App if you have a touch screen. Is this what others have found too? -- Bill Gateway M465e ('06 era) - Windows Live Mail 2009 v14 Centrino Core2 Duo T7400 2.16 GHz - 4GB - Windows 7 Home SP1 |

But it seems to me that Mozilla is only going to support touch screens on the Metro side and it won't work with pen or mice. -- Bill Gateway M465e ('06 era) - Thunderbird v24.3.0 Centrino Core2 Duo T7400 2.16 GHz - 4GB - Windows 7 Home SP1 |
