How do I got about formatting the USB key?

[]
The ones I've gotten lately contain a program which starts to run as
soon as I insert it. That is really aggravating. I dont want that
software. After fighting to stop the installation, I just open
Partition Magic, and reformat them. That gets rid of that annoying
software. I believe some are also formatted for Mac.

You can turn off autorun, for various devices (CDs, USB, ...), so you
don't have to fight the installer.

(Certainly reformatting will do the trick, though just deleting will
normally suffice. Of course, if you want them formatted differently
anyway, ...)
