I don't know if this is related or not but
I have my screen saver disabled yet when I'm
away for a period of time the screen goes black.
It does respond when I move the mouse when I
return but the screen is usually always on.

I checked the screen saver settings and it's
still disabled so I don;t know why it's blacking
out the screen.

You should see a neurologist.

The screen is blacking out, not the operator :-)

You're right. I meant *it* should see a neurologist, an
electroneurologist. In the UK they are called cyberneurologists.

My screen also goes black once in a while and when it restarts a
couple seconds later, there is a message that says "Video Restarting"
or something like that." I've suggested it see a cyberneurologist, but
it says it has no money and I can't afford it.

That's called a VPU Recover. Before that was invented for
video cards, the system would just "crash and burn".
