Thanks to SC Tom and JJ, it seems that the only correct answer is Fraps because all the other methods only work in special cases. http://www.fraps.com/ The Steam FPS display is substandard since it only works for some games. The Nvidia NVIDIA GeForce Experience ShadowPlay & MSI AfterBurner work only for Nvidia graphic cards and only on some Windows operating systems (for example, it doesn't work on Windows 10 so you have to get a potentially unsafe msi-afterburner alternative from some non-Nvidia web site. |
