Many thanks, Bernd, for that valuable little New Year's tidbit :-) ! A
tweak that's easily overlooked. Carefully noted for future reference.

I had never noticed those five composition options before.

You'll need to select all the text before you issue that command because the
lines in last post are still broken. i.e. the square character should appear
at start of every lines, not just at the start of the line where the current
cursor is.

Also, I think any server may break long lines too. I don't know about
mixmin, but albasani, aioe, and eternal-september don't break long lines.
I've tested it on alt.test.

I'm getting a bit nervous about these sorts of questions.

Why ?

Right now, there is a flood in alt.free.newsservers.
The flood is using remailers.

Now, a responsible remailer operator could filter on
IP, except if an OpenVPN user tells the perp how to
launch an attack with practically any IP. So now they
don't even need a botnet, to be a nuisance.

Combine this with header munging, I think we're
creating a monster by offering help of this sort.

Expect to see the flood in alt.free.newsservers go
"headerless" as the next move.

That doesn't have anything to do with this. The flood has already started
even before OP posted this.

I'm pretty sure you already know what TOR is. There's absolutely no rule in
TOR. And clearnet servers which are based on TOR tend to ignore clearnet
rules too.

Combine this with header munging, I think we're
creating a monster by offering help of this sort.

Unfortunately, there are many already. Perhaps you don't aware that there
are many open source bulk email/news sender softwares which anyone can pick
and modify to be monster tools.

Expect to see the flood in alt.free.newsservers go
"headerless" as the next move.

That would be impossible as newsgroup servers won't allow such message.
