Deep Security Agent ???

The filename is too long, to make it a Windows thing.

Try doing properties on it and see if it has a product name.

OK, I can see an instance of that in Google.

"The files in the C:\Program files (x86)\Intel Driver and Support Assistant folder
include one called DSA Service.exe and out of curiosity I clicked"

I wonder if that's even needed.

Is that one of those things you install and immediately
uninstall after it's finished doing an update ?

I'm not a big fan of some of the things Intel as done,
because of the "baggage" some of them include.

I think you're supposed to leave it running to do daily/weekly/on-demand
scans for new drivers, doesn't seem too bad, but I disable it with autoruns.

Andy: What is the specific name of the program(s) you have disabled in
Autoruns please?

DSAtray.exe and DSAservice.exe

I had already set it to "never" check for upgrades, so realistically I
could uninstall DSA (it's only a driver updater, not the drivers itself)

Thanks, I've done the same.
