KB 4523786 on Home PC
https://www.computerworld.com/articl...autopilot.html
I checked for updates yesterday and it dl'd and installed 3 of them. One of them is KB 4523786 which is an Autopilot and I have Win10 64bit Home and I heard it wasn't supposed to be installed on my PC. "Itβs a standalone patch, KB 4523786. It isnβt part of a Windows cumulative update, security or non-security." Should I uninstall it ASAP or wait to see more advice or not worry about it. I have Win10-Home-64bit -- 8GB Ram---- Version: 1903--- OS build 18362.449 Thanks, Buffalo |

Microsoft patches rarely create any problems on systems that are compatible with updates or upgrades. The other thing is you should stop reading crap that are not from the official Microsoft blogs or news conference. The articles are normally written to sell advertising space hoping that some idiot will click on these flashy ads. -- With over 1,000,000 million devices now running Windows 10, customer satisfaction is higher than any previous version of windows. |

Per the MS release notes, it shouldn't install on a Win10 Home system. It didn't install on my Win10 Pro system, which does not have Autopilot installed. |

I guess you haven't researched it at all and are just talking out your ass like you do so often. Please don't offer your advice when you don't know WTF you are talking about. -- Buffalo |

I did research the update AFTER it got installed and got the info you gav, and more. MS installed in on my Win10 Home PC after I checked to see if any updates were being offered. I heard they took that update down the same day because it was not supposed to install it on my system. I am looking for some advice from those that are familiar with AutoPilot software and what harm it might cause to my Win10 Home 64bit PC. Thanks, -- Buffalo |

Talking of research, why the **** do we have to do it for you. Are you that dumb that you can't do it for yourself. Buffalos aren't renowned for intelligence but this is the first I have seen here on a public newsgroup. Please don't offer your advice when you don't know WTF you are talking about. Sad smile Well the choice is yours. You really need to remove that crap you have installed because some people have seen their computers blowing up when they installed something that wasn't meant for them.
