Default Windows XP printing problems while using word and novell groupwise 6

Try turning off bi-directional support.

Start - printers - select printer - set printer
properties - ports.
This solved many of my errors....good luck !

-----Original Message-----
I have windows XP professional installed on an Hp

pavilion
xt375. I am also using Office XP professional and

Novell
Groupwise 6.o. When I try to print to a network printer
on a novell network (HP 4). I can get one print (the

first
job sent) and then it gives me errors and tells me that
word will be shut down the autosave feature will save

the
document so I can retrieve my document. Groupwise tends

to
do the same thing. I have reinstalled the print drives,
and I have run a repair on the office installation.

I am also having a problem with another machine that is
running Win 2000 and Excel. Only when it doesn't print

I
get an *.exe error and it stops the print spooler in the
administrative tools of the control panels. It does

also
tend to lock up the machine.

Thank you
