Default Brother HL-1650 printing problems with XP?

Erik,

Have you contacted Brother Tech Support? I have found them very responsive
and helpful regarding my printer questions.

I am experiencing issues with the WHQL certified PCL driver provided
from brother.com for the 1650/70 series (file is named 165engc2). The
printer is attached to a WinXP Pro box, and the printer is shared out
to two XP Home computers. My challenge is that most of the time, a
document or label that Word 2002 lists as size 12 prints in size 10.
Additionally, spacing when printing labels gets goofed up. Any
suggestions for an alternate driver, or changes in some other settings
I might make? If I try to use the built-in XP driver I don't seem to
be able to specify and limit the source tray to the MP tray
(letter/envelope tray).

Thanks,
Erik
