Default print subspooler application is giving me errors now

Ok Now am having printer subspooler app errors and it shuts down the printer
so that its like gone from XP. I open printers/fax folder to find the icon
gone.
Any help please

I have similar problem going on. Still deleting some virus-bugs and trojans
on the specific machine. Not sure if that is reason. Have you tried to start
backround service if it happens to be down? Control Panel- Administrating
Tools-Services _ look for printing services or spooling....

yes i tried that it keeps giving me the same error and says that it has to
shut down.
any other ideas anyone PLEASE
the computer is working fine otherwise and I have scanned for viruses and
its clean.

My Spooler Sub System has problems, starting today after
the "Install New Updates".

I have XP Professional.

I get an error message and it wants to send error info to
Microsoft. Then is stops the spooler service. Here is the
message in the event viewer with an event code of 7034.
If I start the Print Spooler, then try to empty hung
document, it stops the Print Spooler.

When I try to print from another computer I get a message
that there is an RPC error.
