Default Event 61, source Print

Under XP it is easy to find printers, but they sometimes=20
disappear (not out of sight, but stop printing).
Here two modern Panasonic laptops and one HP printer.=20
Both have used the printer for a year, when they=20
interconnected to a net.
The net is still there, but one of the two is=20
disconnected from it and connected with a broadband=20
internet instead. It is now directly USB-connected to the=20
printer, while the other machine still is connected to=20
the printer ovedr the net.
This has functioned good. Suddenly one day the net=20
machine could no longer print. Whatever I do, it won't.
Log book message:
Win32 error code 3003 (Oxbbb); Filename LocalSpl.dll,=20
File version 5.1.2600.1106, Event ID 61, Cathegory None,=20
Source Print, ... Product version 5.1.2600.1106, Type=20
Error.
In addition to this: the internet computer with its=20
direct USB to the printer experienced print stop without=20
explanation a whole day, and without having done anything=20
it resumed working next day.
We are many working on our own profiles; this has=20
happened to most of them sometimes. But they haven't as I=20
administrator privilegies, and this happens to me too.
=20
Grateful for a solution, which the automatic connection=20
to Microsoft support could not provide.
