Default cpu usage

hey experts!

while using microsoft newsgroup my cpu tells me that i am
using 100% of its usage. when i go to windows task
manager under "Applications" it shows i have only 2
programs running? How can i possibly be using 100% of my
cpu?

thanks in advance S.D.

Check your system to see if you have any unsigned drivers
that may be causing the problem.

Go to Start Run and type: SIGVERIF , and hit enter.
