Default Delete Product Key

I want to delete the product key in one of my XP pc i am selling it & dont
have a cd for it, i was told u can delete it so when u boot it it goes back
to the 30 day till they enter a new key.

Where is the key stored? & what files to i delete (if any)

I dont want to reinstall either as I want to leave all the application
inctact.

Please Help!

Multiposted - please see your other posting where myself and others have
answered.

P.S. - I wouldn't care if it was my mother selling me the computer and she
had been in Information Technology all her life and assured me she just
formatted it and installed anew - I'd *still* format it myself. ;-) Better
to know exactly what you start with.
