Hello Skipper:

Perhaps you could give serious consideration to posting the Brand &
model number. Also, is it PS2 or USB?

According to your not so good User Guide, your keyboard is PS2. But
I'll grant you know the difference. Nothing is mentioned about the
roller so I suspect it couldn't be made to function properly and was
left as an attractive nuisance for the unsuspecting buyer. If you
installed the drivers as instructed, you might see if it supports an
undocumented vertical scroll function in its various "Office" modes.

You might also try contacting their tech support too.

It's a scroll wheel. I have a similar keyboard but the brand name is
micro innovations.

Thanks very much for your reply, I really appreciate it. It was just idle curiosity and after your reply I think I might just let it lie. Thank you once again for taking the time to reply

Hello JD:

Intuitively that's what might come to mind. The OP didn't indicate
that this function performed on his. Have you been able to make it
function with Windows or Office?

The User Guide seems quite sparse for this information.

OP doesn't seem to be coming back?

I use the scroll wheel all the time and it works whenever there is
scrolling available so it's just like the scroll wheel on a mouse.

Keep in mind, my keyboard has a different name on it but it's pretty
much the same keyboard. I did have to install drivers for it and they
load with Windows.
