Mouse absent from All Programs/Add/Remove(?)
WinXP home, IE6, OE6
Hello, would someone happen to know why my Logitech corded mouse isn't listed in ALL Programs nor in Add/Remove? I was given directions to correct something, by Logitech Support, which necessitated to find it in the All Programs, which is absent. Yet, it's working all right except for a little something I wish to correct. The Belarc Advisor however, shows this (I can'[t tell which is the mouse and which other "devices" so I'm copying everything he USB Human Interface Device Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard HID-compliant mouse PS/2 Compatible Mouse USB Root Hub Should I have to download it again from Logitech site? Or download the driver(s)? Thanks for any suggestions. Adela

Several manufacturers can offer an enhanced mouse driver package, which will get listed in the Add / Remove Programs Control Panel Applet. If you do not see a listed entry, the enhanced drivers were never installed. You will need to correctly download the correct Logitech "enhanced" drivers for your mouse model.

Did you just plug in the mouse and ignore the disc? Did you just plug in the mouse because you never had a disc? -- Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. - Mother Teresa

Oh thank you! I even forgot I had the CD, and yes, I "just plugged in the
mouse and ignored the disc" ... and I'm sure it will be ok. now (always trying to simplify due to my limited computer tech knowledge). It may now even correct the thing I had contacted Logitech support in the first place. My good friend you've fulfilled Mother Theresa's thought. I'm better and happier now.  ) AdelaP.S. Hello and thank you! Your suggestion explains why Belarc shows my previous
mouse. I will now use my CD (which I even forgot I had) ) and I'm sure it will be ok now. In what cases does one need to download drivers for any component, etc.?
