NTVDM has encountered a system error c0h
Hi,
On Windows XP, this error began occurring from the DOS prompt. All programs such as EDIT, PKZIP, and other old-style programs that used to run in DOS on XP suddenly will not run. Has anyone else experienced this error, and if so, how did you fix the problem? Thanks. |

I have followed the steps, and checked the files, including config.nt and autoexec.nt . However, nothing out of place. |

Having another problem now, in addition to the NTVDM error. If so , try running a RAM test The hardware is stable; other (large & complicated) programs run for hours without problems. Of course, you never know ... |

If so , try running a RAM test This problem went away of its own accord. DOS programs such as EDIT, PKZIP, etc, that had stopped working (as previously reported) started working again about 6 mpnths ago. |
