Google switching languages

Has anyone experienced Google switching the language on the mail sign in
page or a search page. Mine has been doing this for the past few days. I
clear the cache and cookies and it goes back to what I have it set in
the Preference, which is English. Very annoying, I can not even tell
what the language is and English is not listed in its drop down.
