I believe that the problem was actually that Juan Wei didn't
know how to do it in any browser and e-mail program. At least
that's how I read the question.

Well, you're wrong. :-) In Firefox, there's File Email Link. In
Chrome, there's the "Email This Page" extension.
aside I do wish that people would not try to interpret the
questions and just take them at face value.

Try being clearer in your writing. It will help.

OK. Can you suggest how I could make this more clear?
"...how do I email a link to the page I'm currently viewing?"
Thanks.

Easy:

"*When I'm using Maxthon,* how do I email a link to the page I'm
currently viewing? *It's easy in FF or Chrome.*"

Right-click the tab, choose "Cloud Push to," and do it on the
"Share with friends" tab there.

Don't tell me, I don't use Maxthon :-)

I know. I replied to your message because it was there, even though I
knew you weren't the one who asked.

But if I ever do, then ...

You should. Or rather than take my word for its being the best
browser, you should at least give it a try and see what you think of
it.

I use it as a secondary browser. Haven't discovered any features that
would make me give up Chrome of FF. If you know what they are, would you
share?

LOL! I didn't choose the word. That's what the menu says.

Thanks, Char and Mike, for being supportive of my position - at least
that's how I interpret your replies :-)

Juan seems not have realized that people in this thread were trying to
help him. Or at least that's how I interpret his replies :-)

Everywhere I look, I see interpretation. We wouldn't get very far without
it. If I've interpreted correctly, of course.

It's a good interpretation, I'd say, so it must be wrong :-)

Years ago I thought of trying to become a UN interpreter. By my
interpretation, it's a good thing I didn't.

Looking at the quality of my "funny" stuff above, it must be time for
me to withdraw from this series of "jokes"...

And life is all about interpretation. Can anyone actually know anything for
a fact, without some sort of filtering going on?? I don't think so.
Because all of our senses are interpretative, by nature - interpretative of
what we, as individuals, sense.

:-) Methinks that Bill in CO is taking advantage of their new law! Happy
New Year, Bill!! :-)

If a person asks a question, the reader can take it at face value or --
if the question is ambiguous -- can either guess at what the person
meant or can ask the OP questions to clarify the matter.

Guessing often leads to other topics taking over the thread leaving the
OP without a hint of an answer. This thread--about the Maxthon
browser--is a good example of that.:-)

Asking what he meant can elicit the information needed to answer the
question.

In the meantime, I had asked earlier what it is that MAxthon browser
lovers like about it and I have yet to see an answer.

The bottom line will only come when you try it for yourself, if you're
curious enough to do so. The killer features that others love may mean
nothing to you, and vice versa.

Ditto! Although Maxthon is my favorite browser, I completely agree
that "the killer features that others love may mean nothing to you,
and vice versa."

True, but there are four totally different versions of Maxthon and they
are all different. You can complain all you want about one of them and
you might be right, but not necessary right with the other versions. It
is kind of like Windows versions, kind of alike and kind of different.

JJ Be warned. It sends many statistics that
JJ can't be disabled in any of its settings.

Is Maxthon free and open source?
Are all four versions available in source code form?

How hard would it be to compare the source code
to the compiled code to see what kind of stats
are sent where?

If I had a clue as to what the killer features were... I use it like an
ordinary browser.

And I don't ask about what you love in order to mock you or criticize you.
